Creative Formation

Observation

To be aware of the world around us. Seeing the needs, the wants, the things that allures us in from the culture and away from the heart of God.

Ideation

Explore ideas by valuing them. Seeing the opportunity to challenge one anotherin community to deploy solutions and engage the problems we have observed.

Innovation

Based on feedback and with intention, make positive changes to our ideas, products and creative acts. Being challenged by community and critique to make the best possibly versions of what we have been called to make.

Share

Make space for getting our creative work into the world. Collaborating in ways where we can lean into one anothers strengths and the overlap of our passions, gifts and creative works.

Formation is the essential part of growing in our faith, what we call in theology—sanctification; or the growing into the likeness of Christ, through the Spirit of Truth according to the will of the Father.

Creativity is a long lost attribute of the Church, and it’s time we recover it. Following the creative process, the Church can rediscover this vital part of our identity, and boldly step into our gifts in order to equip and encourage one another.

Our chief aim: clarifying the message of the gospel in the most distracted era of human history.

Community

Coffee Connections

Coffee & Connection are essential parts of the creative process in the 21st century. Our local coffee shops are the lifeblood of the creative Church (of course with the Spirit!). We aim to give back to these communities by encouraging our breakout sessions to practice generosity.

the local Church

How might our resources help equip local missions, pastoral shepherding and other creative ventures? How can the local church come and support our own efforts?

Media Teams

Documentation of these events would not be possible without the creative efforts of our media teams. These resources are re-distributed to help sustain the commission to go and create.

the global Church

The resources and discussions evolving out of this conferences will be shared with the global Church in recognition of the vitality of Christian Unity and the long for Ecumenical Consensus, here on earth or one day in the new creation.

Creativity happens, and can only happen in the context of community.

[quote by Tertullian on the nature of the Trinity and unity at Creation]

We are excited to recognize some of our community partners, who are essential to our existence and propel our mission to Reclaim Creativity.
